Help Us Show and Tell that MD Gives, Inspires Hope

The 2021 Maryland Charity Campaign (MCC) is open! As the Campaign unfolds, we will share stories and anecdotes of the many ways donors celebrate the Campaign, giving back, and each other here on this page, as well as here on the MCC website. Our goal is to provide a round-up of the 2021 MCC events and celebrations across our great State, all in support of the Campaign.

Your Colleagues Want to Hear From You

To that end, please share your story! Email photos (jpeg or png) and/or videos (YouTube or Vimeo link) of your event, with a brief caption for each to provide context, to marcom@charities.org using the email subject “2021 MCC Story,” and and we’ll share your news here, on the MCC website, and across social media.

Check out what donors in previous years did in 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016 for inspiration.

If you don't have the time to share your story, but still want to help spread the word, keep reading for information on how you can share pre-written messages on social media!

Share on Social Media and Inspire Others to Give Back

Did you pledge or donate to a cause you love through the MCC? Spread the word on social media! Your individual act inspires collective action. In fact, the #1 people give is because they are asked. Please help us ask others to support causes they love through the MCC!

Just post to Facebook or Tweet that you gave to a charity you care about through the MCC, and make sure to include the Campaign hashtag, #MCCMatters, to reach the larger MCC community. Tell your story in your own words or — to save yourself time and energy — use the pre-written messages available in our Outreach Tool Kit (Word document), which you can easily copy and paste into your social media or other communication channels. Feel free to edit as you see fit.

Also, be sure to tag us on Facebook and Twitter, so we can “like” and share your post to amplify your message.

Thank you for sharing your story and proving MD Gives, Inspires Hope.
